additions, Stompers and Big Stompers round out Yakima's existing line of snowshoes, providing two models for kids/youth.
Being parents themselves, the folks at Yakima saw a need to keep families playing together, regardless of whether the sun is shining or the snow is falling. Therefore, Yakima purchased the SnoWalkers' line of competitively priced snowshoes.
Stompers
The Yakima Stompers are designed to fit kids ages 4-9. Ready to handle the most vigorous backyard play, Stompers are well suited to sledding, climbing, and sliding. Stompers are also a full-featured snowshoe so Junior can come along on the family snowshoe daytrips, and are ideal for any child up to 80 lbs. exploring the great outdoors with their parents or friends.
Big Stompers
Yakima Big Stompers are for adventurous youth, ages 8-14. With a weight capacity of up to 120 lbs., Big Stompers are designed for active older kids and teenagers. Featuring bottoms that are full of aggressive traction features, Big Stompers are also a full-featured, rugged snowshoe, great for the family outing or for exploring moderate terrain, snowboarding, climbing or sledding.
