Dynastar's Concept Junior Ski
Tested by Zan, age 9, from Truckee, California

The Concept Junior ski by Dynastar is getting some big press in freeskiing publications. The big boys are using it, and for good reason. The ski rocks! Take it out in the park, carve up some crud, or catch big air. Our tester, Zan, rips it up at Squaw Valley. He's a member of the Squaw Valley Freestyle Team and gets upwards of 50 days a season on snow. Here's what "Zan the Man" and Dynastar had to say about his favorite boards.
Dynastar's Concept Junior: "A light maneuverable ski for all terrain, adventure, tricks designed for younger juniors looking for adventure all over the mountain and in the terrain park.
Zan the Man:
"I skied a few full days at Squaw Valley USA on the radical twin-tips. I did some 180s and didn't fall. I like the way they look, especially the bottoms. They have a cool design on the bottom. They work great in the jump park. I like them because they are light and easy to jump with and 130cm are a good size for me. The best trick on these skis is to pop a wheelie and ride the backs down the hill. You have to be careful that you don't go too fast though.
I would like a pair of skis like this for my own for when I go in the jump park. It would be good if the back tips went up more like the front tips do. Then my mom wouldn't worry so much about me falling when I ski backwards. My brother wants a pair of skis like this too.
I think the ski is made really good. I don't think any kid could wreck them, unless they leave them where a car can run them over. But I don't do that.
I have a big hill in front of my house that the plow made. I'm going to try some tricks off of it soon. Thanks for letting me test these twin-tips."

We are waiting on photos from Zan. He's a busy man.
