Boy’s Rival Jacket
from Kennebunk, Maine, is eight years old. Ian comes from a skiing family; visiting
Eastern resorts every weekend. Ian put the Spyder outfit to the test. Here’s what
Ian and his mom had to say:
of Product: The Spyder jacket is very functional, cool, and comfortable,
but Ian had trouble with the pants. The suspenders were uncomfortable and he thought
the waist of the pants was too high. Given that, the product worked as it should
and was easy to use. If we were to suggest improvements, we would say a lower
waistline, and perhaps no need for suspenders. Ian also mentioned that it did
not have a fleece liner, which he really likes to have in a jacket for warmth
is it made? Spyder makes excellent clothing with good water proofing
and stain resistance. I haven’t had to clean it like I usually do with his stuff.
And yes, it’s made so that rough boys can’t destroy it. Ian could get more seasons
out of it if he didn’t grow. The pants became tight and with no waist adjustment
he was uncomfortable. And Ian is slim too, its not like he has a big gut.. the
pants rubbed on his bony rib cage.
Where did you use it?
We ski every weekend. We have been to about 10 different ski resorts in New England and Eastern Canada with this outfit, in all different weather from below 0 to sunny, to freezing rain, and high winds. The outfit was well received by people on the hill. They commented on how well equipped and outfitted Ian was.
