Rippin' Riders Preview
Spyder Kyd's Gear
By T.
Thompson
Spyder offers a board selection
of kid's wear from preschool through junior, racer to freerider, street wear to
layering and everything in between. Spyder lines now
include Venom Freeride for boys and girls; adaptable to snowboarding as well as
skiing and arguably the hottest look on snow and at recess. The expansion of the
Mini-Moe and Bitty-Picabo lines mean styles are offered all the way down to Size
2 so toddlers can now delight in the same warm, dry and stylish skiwear their
siblings have enjoyed.
Our Rippin' Riders program
will include The Boy's Rival jacket and pants in blue with bright green and silver
highlights.
The Boy's Rival ensemble
offers some very cool features. Right off the bat the kids were impressed with
the zip off sleeves. A great way to cool off on warm days or get some use out
of the garment at school or hanging out. And somebody was thinking - there's a
back pocket to store the sleeves when not in use. Elbows and knees are articulated
for comfort and stress. The collar is microfleece lined (cozy) and includes a
rollaway hood. The Pockets are streamlined and include a keyholder clasp (don't
lose that hotel key!) and a goggle pocket! A storm flap and very cool antenna
grommet (to keep that radio close at hand). The pants have multiple pockets, a
very useful waist adjuster snap, and removable highback suspenders.
The Boy's Rival Jacket
suggested retail is $175
Sizes: 8-20
