RULES:
Entry deadline is January 31, 2009. Only one entry per household per day. Open to U.S. and Canadian residents over 19 only. Winners selected by random drawing. Winners notified by email. Must respond within seven days to receive prize. The prize must be redeemed & used by December 20, 2009. See below for further details.
The small print:
GRAND PRIZE: Grand Prize (1): Trip for the Grand Prize Winner and three guests (one adult and two children under the age of 18 years. Grand prize trip (valued at $2.360 CAD) includes roundtrip Ground Transportation from Vancouver Airport to Whistler (ARV $400), three (3) nights accommodation in quad occupancy suite to be determined by Tourism Whistler (ARV $820), two (2) x 2 day adult lift tickets for Whistler Blackcomb (ARV $360), two (2) x 2 day child (under 18) lift tickets for Whistler Blackcomb (ARV $300), one (1) x Horse Drawn Sleigh Ride Fondue Dinner for four (2 adults and 2 children under 18) (ARV $400) and four (4) Fresh Track tickets for one day including early access to Whistler mountain and a breakfast buffet in Whistler Mountain's Roundhouse Lodge (AVR $80). Winter prize valid between January 3rd & April 31st, 2009 and opening day of the 2009 winter season until December 20, 2009. Blackout dates are Feb 13-22, 2009 and April 10-17, 2009.
The Grand Prize is non-transferable and not for re-sale. If the Grand Prize Winner is unable to accept the Grand Prize for any reason, prize will be forfeited. All expenses not specified in these Official Rules, including without limitation, meals, taxes, entry/exit fees, gratuities, incidentals and other expenses, are the Grand Prize Winner’s (and guests) sole responsibility. Activities are subject to availability, operating times and weather conditions. Prize winner and his/her travelling companions are also solely responsible for all costs incurred to and from the Departure Point as the Prize originates and terminates there. The Grand Prize Winner will not receive any compensation if actual retail value of trip is less than projected approximate retail value. Tourism Whistler reserves the right to substitute the Grand Prize in whole or in part in the event that all or any component of the Grand Prize is unavailable, with a Grand Prize or Grand Prize component of equal or greater retail value. The Grand Prize is not transferable, not redeemable for cash, not for re-sale and will be awarded to the confirmed winner only. The Grand Prize Winner and guests must travel on same itinerary.
